I set up EveryoneHR as I believe it’s time to listen.

I’ve witnessed all too often that the focus on procedures and processes ignores the impact on people, their roles and their wellbeing. And that in turn affects your business, as how people feel affects their performance. 

Few people or processes work in isolation of each other and, in my experience, not many people turn up for work wanting to do a deliberately bad job. By listening, raising awareness, improving management capability and sensitivity businesses can sufficiently address the underlying factors inhibiting optimal performance and the achievement of results.

Everyone’s back story is different, and one size does not fit all. We all know life can be complex and there’s increased vulnerability which, at times, may affect us being at our best. And whilst most businesses appreciate HR is an operational necessity, I see it as an opportunity to help your business grow and to create an environment that supports people to be their best selves at work.

The foundation to much of my work around workplace culture and integration, performance management and training comes from a 20-year career in operational management. Since heading up an HR team in 2008, my experience also extends to all the classic HR functions such as compiling staff handbooks, setting out and implementing HR procedures, assisting with recruitment and redundancy, reviewing employee contracts and establishing HR management systems.

Alongside my Diploma in Human Resource Development and Certificate in Professional Management, I’m also a fully qualified and approved Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England instructor underpinned by a wealth of knowledge and experience in supporting mental wellbeing in the workplace. 

This wide range of experience combined with professional qualifications enables me to offer a very well-rounded solution focused HR and wellbeing service that has people at its heart.

Aside from my own extensive competency in these areas, I’ve also access to a range of professional associates who offer any additional support and expertise needed to deliver the desired outcome.
